Meet Cinzia
Cinzia grew up in Clinton, CT and is a proud graduate of the Morgan School. As the daughter of an immigrant from a blue-collar family, Cinzia learned she could forge her own path early on.
Over the past 15 years, Cinzia has dedicated her life to education, advocacy, and policy. She has experience with CEOs, legislators, and advocacy organizations in simplifying processes, addressing inequalities and working with legislators on both sides of the aisle.
Cinzia has a strong connection to Westbrook, having lived and worked there. In 2021, Cinzia returned to her hometown with her husband, Seth, where they welcomed their daughter Hattie. Cinzia continues to work to strengthen her community.
Cinzia currently serves on the Clinton Democratic Town Committee, Clinton Planning & Zoning and Water Pollution Control Commissions, and volunteers as the Westbrook Girl Scouts Cookie Sales Manager. Cinzia is a 3rd grade teacher in Hamden. She earned her bachelors degree in English from UCLA, and a masters degree in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Washington.
